Matt Nijland - Manager of 3's and 7's

3's and 7's formed in 2018 with a clear mission in mind: to bring loud, raw guitar-driven alternative rock back to the forefront of popular music.

Hailing from Johannesburg, the South African three-piece band (Murray Blamey, Matt Nijland and Lorenzo Germani) blends their extensive musical influences and talents together through writing energetic, catchy and melodic rock songs that are meant to be turned up to 11!

The band are on a non-stop role releasing a string of original songs throughout 2022, which have each been very well-received and enjoyed by old and new fans alike! Their latest single, "Free Entities", blends an 80s Alternative-Indie vibe with their signature overdriven guitar choruses. This follows the roaring success of their third single, "I'm Done", charting at #6 on the Mix 93.8 FM SA Top 40 in their home country. Their first two singles, "Azure Eyes" and "Subliminal Skies", are both still loved and streamed worldwide. The music video for their latest single "Free Entities" has just clocked over 1K views on YouTube, with the music video for "I'm Done" quickly following suit. The band have plenty more lined up for 2023!
