Gia is a 22 year old Medical student ​and singer-songwriter who was signed with David ​Gresham Records, and has released a ​number of original songs. Gia has ​performed on the Expresso Morning ​Show and Afternoon Express TV, as ​well as numerous radio programs ​and press. Gia has ​opened for SA charting singer Lee ​Cole.

Gia’s song Cut Up was on the Top 10 on Vaal stereo for 2 weeks and Gia was featured on KFM with Carl Wastie for her latest song, Walls. Gia’s music captures elements of contemporary soul and acoustic pop.

Inspired by people, poetry, music and art, Gia’s everyday experiences with people cultivate her musical inspiration. Her family and friends play a big role in providing a space where the young singer can be creative and vulnerable with her song writing.

Gia performs in an around Cape Town at venues such as Mojo Market, Durbanville Hills, Lourensford Market and many more.

Juggling her very demanding degree as well as her passion for music can be challenging, but Gia enjoys the duality of life and that she gets to pursue both her passions, Music and Medicine.
