From the vibrant city of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, Wilter shares intimate stories and emotions, connecting with listeners on a daily basis. Wandile “Wilter” Masuku’s musical journey began at home, where his sisters’ love for R&B inspired him to explore his own creativity. Born January, 2nd, year 2000 with the hope of taking his Trap-influenced R&B to the world.
As he grew older, Wilter’s passion for music flourished, leading him to write and record his own songs, and ultimately, discover his unique voice.
Although he didn’t make the cut for South African Idols in 2018 after auditioning, the experience fueled his determination to succeed. Ironically, his audition sparked increased recognition and attention from those around him, propelling him forward with even greater momentum.
