Kristen Wepener is a KZN-born musician who started her solo career in Observatory, Cape Town, in 2017. She performed in and around Cape Town for two before relocating to her hometown, Pietermaritzburg, where she founded and lead the Midlands-based band, Cactus Club.
In 2020, Kristen made the decision to focus on her solo work amidst the challenge of the pandemic. Her first single, On & On, is now on pre-order on Spotify, and will be released on the 29th of October across all streaming platforms.
